Basic Behaviour Programs
Consult sessions are mandatory to get a better idea of what is needed for the situation, as well as to make sure we’re a good fit. $90 for a 60-90 minute consult. Progress varies with dogs, if you feel your dog needs more than the suggested sessions in order to be where you’d like them to be this can be arranged. Basic behaviour programs are also private in home sessions tailored specifically to you and your dog as individuals.
I understand that most owners would like their dogs to be able to adhere to basic behaviours such as walking appropriately, coming when called, and behaving respectfully in the home. Which is why Basic Behaviour Programs was developed for the Dignified Dog; to give your pup a solid ground to run on. Plus, who doesn’t love getting complimented on how well behaved their dog is?
Household Etiquette
Calm time when people get home or when guests come over not only shows good behaviour, but it offers people a look at proper dog manners too. No one wants an unruly house mate, these sessions are customized to suit your particular situation. Some of what’s included in these sessions are as follows:
Staying calm for knocking/doorbell, greeting.
Existing on property without barking at neighbours, digging, etc.
No more counter surfing and stealing personal items
Create a dog that is content being independent (no more demanding behaviour and separation anxiety)
Resource guarding, reactivity outside of just walks & aggression (your dog may need more than 5 sessions depending on how intense these particular behaviours are)
Benefits: place command, stay with duration, stay with distraction, polite and calm greeting, and desensitizing to doorbell, proper crate training
Lifetime text/email/call support, even after sessions have been concluded
Up to 1 hr sessions with owner present
Slip lead or training collar included if needed

Off-Leash Freedom
Complete recall training with a sit and focus when being called back. As well as practicing to generalize and ignore distractions. We start in the home and then progress to public areas.

Walking 101
No more getting pulled around with these leash manners. Enjoy the walk from both ends of the leash. These sessions also address leash reactivity (barking, lunging, etc. at dogs/people/bikes/cars/etc.). First session is in the home, the rest are outside on the walk where it all happens.
